Thankful for my Friends Party

When I first started thinking of the 31 Days of Giving I thought I would highlight great organizations or ways to donate time or money to those that are less fortunate. However when I really started thinking of ways to "give back" I thought of just saying thank you. Seriously, it can be that simple.
In November we decided we are going to have a dinner party for our friends, a "We are thankful for our friends" dinner to just let them know how important they are to us. Sometimes I sit back and think how crazy it is that I am surrounded by such loving people....such a great community. Like listen to this....we went 13 months with a baby and did NOT have to buy diapers. Seriously! Hello, can you say love....when you are supplied enough diapers for a year...really. I will also admit that I consider my spiritual gift to be hospitality....I like to get people together and feed them. I like to have my house full of noise and laughter and people on the floor because there is no more room on chairs and couches. What a better way to tell your friends and family "thank you"....host a shower, host a party, have a movie night.
I'm already trying to think of creative ways to have "thank you's" at the table and maybe a "thank you" tree or something.

And I guess I must add....I am getting my Christmas gift this month so we can have it before our "Thankful for our friends" party. B is making me this fabulous table! (I LOVE Pinterest) It will inspire me for some wonderful decorations too!
