Last night at Bible Study our teacher asked us if God ever spoke to us. We are studying Jonah and God spoke to Jonah...he may not speak to us in the same way but he definitely speaks to us.
This past Sunday I was at a conference that was very motivating, "Use my words for good, use my words for God." Last night we started our study on Jonah and we were challenged to "Navigate our Life Interrupted". To look at what God is doing in your life, what is he asking you to do to step out of your life and into His direction. The quote "God often sends us into hopeless places because it is in the hopeless place that we can see the hope in God."
This morning as I was reading some new found blogs I came across "The Nester". She is doing a 31 Days of...link up. First thing that came to my head was Giving. So I will be doing a 31 Days of Awareness and Giving. My older children are 9 and 11 and they are really at that point that they need to learn what loving people really means...it usually means giving to them. Giving them your ears to listen, your $$ to donate, your time to help them, or just your prayers. And this will give me a chance to go out and seek ways to give, seek ways to raise awareness.
I will start by praying that I can actually complete 31 days of this.....here we go.
