Mama Kat's Writers Workshop

Once again she has a topic or two that I can write about....so here you go.

1)DISCUSS AN INTENSE GAME OF PICTIONARY THAT YOU SPENT A DAY ARGUING ABOUT WITH THE FAMILY.
Didn't even have to think about this one...lol. Christmas of 2006. We have a party every year with our extended 'Family' which means they are not blood related but they have been a part of our lives from the beginning and they are family. We decided to play girls against guys pictionary. You get one of each sex and tell them the word and they draw and we all just scream out guesses...first sex to get the word gets a point and so on. I am pretty sure it was the 3rd person up. My Dad against Elaine. Game on...as Elaine starts to draw we start to yell and my Dad just stands there with a grin...no drawing at all. All of the sudden Ryan yells out the answer and Dad sayd "Yep..wow..good job." The fun begins...someone who I won't name names but we will call her Schlezibeth....on her feet "NOT FAIR, DOESNT COUNT, BOYS DIDNT EVEN DRAW ANYTHING." Fight begins....lol..everyone arguing and than Schlezibeth gets louder and louder and it turns from funny to end of game. Basically we found out Bob whispered the word to Ryan on his way up to the drawing board and now we never play Pictionary...in fact I am pretty sure we don't play any games anymore other than the Annual "Hide you hideous white elephant gift so you don't get stuck bringing it home."

2)TELL ABOUT A TIME YOU HURT SOMEBODY THAT STILL BOTHERS YOU TO THIS DAY.
Pretty ironic since I just posted about it a few days ago...enough said.

3)THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY...SPILL IT.
We will call him "He", so HE was the one that got away...we had a wonderful connection, intense relationship and friendship, he knew me because I could be me and he was ok with me, lots of late night talks, lots of love letters written, didn't work out on paper, bad timing, years of crying over him, still think of him as a great friend, and am I glad he got away?...YES. With my beautiful kids and amazingly manly husband I am glad things turned out the way they did.

The one that got away? They NEVER got away from me! I kept them under lock and key until I had drained the life, love and cash out of them and then sent them packing. That's the way to do it!
